The Body of Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations (CICPC), formerly Technical Judicial Police (PTJ) and originally as Judicial Technical Police (PTJ) is the lead agency for criminal investigations of Venezuela.
The Body of Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations (CICPC), must meet a list of objectives:
* Optimize actions aimed at achieving the clarification of the crimes Criminal Investigation.
* Train the Institution integrated in order to achieve a high level of human capital effectiveness and efficiency.
* Increase the sense of institutional belonging linked to scientific and technological dynamics, through the practice of the values of the CICPC.
* Ensure actions and means aimed at improving the quality of life of its members in the educational, cultural, sporting, social and economic aspect.
